Bahrain TV تلفزيون البحرين is a state owned and run Bahraini news television owned by Bahrain Radio and Television Corporation. Around 35-40% of the content is produced locally. The media in country is highly censored and widely considered as regime mouth-piece. However Information Affairs Authority (IAA) governed by Ministry of Information Affairs is the ultimate authority when it comes to media, broadcasts, Censorship and all that is on television and Newspapers/ tabloid etc. The TV channel directly comes under the command of Bahrain News Agency established in 1976.
